The 42 is the hull that made Lagoon the volume yard of the cruising-cat world: VPLP lines with Patrick Le Quément styling, launched in 2016 to replace the 420/421, the mast stepped well aft to damp pitching and shrink the main, a self-tacking jib doing the daily work — a rig sized for a couple on 22.6 ft of beam.
