2010 Dragonfly 35 Ultimate — Spain

A 2010 Dragonfly 35 Ultimate, asking $237,600. The 35 headed Quorning Boats' range through its 2007–2019 run, and the Danish yard's signature is all over it: the Swing Wing system folds the 26.9 ft beam to under 13 ft in under a minute, putting a 35-foot trimaran in an ordinary monohull berth. Ultimate is the sportier of the model's two trims — the same hull as the Touring under a taller, more powerful rig, faster and needing earlier reefing for it.

Two things the paperwork does not give us. We hold no sister 35 to benchmark the ask against. And this lead carries neither a broker nor a usable location — settle both before anything else.

The trimaran shelf is blunt about the price. $237,600 is the second-highest ask among the tris we hold around it: longer boats ask less, and boats eight and nine years newer ask less. The two highest asks on the shelf are both Dragonflys — the brand holds its money — so this one stands or falls on condition and inventory.

The one boat above it is instructive: the same yard's 2014 Dragonfly 32 Supreme, lying San Carlos, Panama, at $240,000 — the same idea, four years newer, one size down:
