A 1996 Lagoon 35 CCC at Demopolis, Alabama, asking $140,000 through Marine Group - Emerald Coast. CCC is Coastal Cruising Catamaran, and the hull is not the Lagoon most buyers picture: drawn by Morrelli & Melvin, and, for the US market, resin-infused over balsa by TPI in Rhode Island — before the marque hardened into its French charter idiom. 620 sq ft of sail on 34.5 ft of hull and 15.75 ft of beam, fixed keels drawing about 3 ft 6 in: narrow and light by later Lagoon standards, and a run of roughly a dozen hulls.

Two honesty notes. Rarity cuts both ways — with no second Lagoon 35 alongside, every comparison below is cross-model, and a thin market is a slow one on the way out. And we hold no condition note, equipment list or days-on-market: bulkhead bonding, balsa moisture and saildrive age are a surveyor's questions, not answers we have.

The price is the demanding part. The mid-1990s cats we can set beside it — a Fountaine Pajot Athena 38, a PDQ 36 — ask nearer $95,000, both longer. At $140,000 the rarity premium is asked up front, mid-band among catamarans under $200k.
