The F-28 was Ian Farrier's second act at Corsair Marine — the F-27's folding geometry carried onto a longer, wider platform: 28.4 ft of hull spreading 19.8 ft of beam under sail, road width on the trailer. Where the F-27 carried a fixed stick, the F-28 brought a rotating wing mast and a retractable sprit; the R spec adds a carbon spar and another foot of hoist. It is the racing cut of the model that gets called the sweet spot of the Farrier range.
