The 51 is the design that carried NEEL Trimarans' argument to a wide audience: a Joubert/Nivelt drawing, first built in 2017, that spends its 29 feet of beam on a single living level — cockpit and saloon running together behind sliding doors, the owner's cabin up on the main deck — and took European Yacht of the Year in 2018 for exactly that mix. It is the layout that put the model on the short list of serious bluewater trimarans.
